I've bred, imported and trained working dogs since 1978, and for most of that time the Belgian Malinois has been the other half of my program alongside the German Shepherd. Anyone who has watched a good Malinois work knows why. A good one possesses excellent working ability and many of the traits we want in the home.
Choose carefully because that working ability in the form of uncontrollable energy is why most people should not buy one from most places that are selling them. A Malinois with the wrong genetics, or one that was brokered off a training field and shipped, is not a personal protection dog. It's a problem you now live with. The dogs we place have been selected for strong nerves and a clear head first, then trained here by my staff, day in and day out, until they are the same dog on Tuesday morning at your kitchen table that they are on the training field. Fully Trained Adult Belgian Malinois
The finished dog. Eighteen to thirty-six months old, obedience and protection work proofed under distraction, socialized in the real world. You get the result, not the project. Fully trained adult Belgian Malinois are $45,000–$65,000.

Trained Adolescent Belgian Malinois
Five to eighteen months old, obedience trained, protection foundation started, and priced by how far along the dog is. For the owner who wants to be part of the finishing and has the time and the will to do it right. Trained adolescent Belgian Malinois are $10,000–$25,000. Availability can be limited, but I often recommend this age group as a good fit. There is no finer genetic material and my staff is talented.

My name is Wayne Simanovich, and I have been training protection dogs passionately since 1978. I have competed against the world's premier dogs and handlers across six countries, and I've placed dogs with Fortune 500 executives, government officials, politicians, entertainers, and elite athletes. We focus on three areas. Fully Trained Adults. Obedience-Trained Adolescents and occasional puppies from our heralded breeding program.

Schedule an interview
Tell us about your lifestyle. Help us in selection. This is paramount to our success. Dogs are individuals just like you. What's perfect for one home may not fit in another.

Prepare for Delivery
We'll guide you through our process then deliver to your door. Work with our handlers on the principles of basic dog handling. Of course, you're always welcome and encouraged to visit. With a visit you'll see some of the top working German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois in the world. Hundreds of successful deliveries since 1978.

What To Expect with a trained protection dog
Health
A Fully Trained Adult is a young dog in its prime — vibrant, strong, with a responsive immune system, and past the vaccination stage. Before a dog is ever bred in our program, we screen the breeding partners for congenital health defects and radiograph hips and elbows. Good health starts with the genetic material, and we start there.
