Guard Dogs for Sale

A guard dog is not a lawn ornament tied to a post. A real guard dog lives in your home, walks at your side, and sits at your feet every evening. That is what we have been placing with families since 1978.

We train German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois for one job: protecting what matters most. Not a kennel dog. Not a fence dog. A dog that is calm in the house and ready when it counts.

Why One Guard Dog Costs $5,500 and Another Costs $65,000

You will see guard dogs advertised online for a fraction of what a trained protection dog costs. You will also see dogs priced like a luxury car. Both prices can be honest or they can be a trap. The difference is genetics, training, and what the dog can actually do.

A cheap puppy is a gamble on genetics nobody has proven. A well-bred and properly trained guard dog is the end of a long road. It's the culmination of the right breeding, months of daily work, and and and expert who knows what to look for and is willing to point you in the right direction.

Guard dogs are born. Training brings out what the genetics put there. It cannot create what is not there. A puppy is potential. A trained guard dog is a finished product.

When you buy quality, you only cry once.

What You Are Paying For

• Genetics most people cannot readily access. Our breeding relationships were built over decades at the top of the sport.
• Selection. Most dogs, even from great breedings, do not make the cut as protection dogs. We only train and place the ones that do.
• Years of work. Breeding, raising, socialization, obedience and protection training, plus nutrition and veterinary care.
• A system that wins. Training methods proven against the finest trainers in the world in the world's tougest training competitions.
• A personal match. We learn your lifestyle, your home and your security needs before we begin selection.
• Evaluation. Every dog is evaluated by my staff for temperament and working ability.

What Makes a Real Guard Dog

The internet is full of guard dogs for sale. Most of them are not guard dogs. They are dogs that bark. A real guard dog is a dog that can tell the difference between a friend at the door and a threat in the dark. That difference is not instinct. It is training.

A real guard dog is calm in the house. Social with your guests. Good with the other dogs in your home. When it matters, it is the most capable animal on the planet at your side.

German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois?

We work with two breeds because they are the two that work. Either one can be the most awesome dog in the world or the most unsuitable. The breed matters less than the individual dog and the training behind it. We help you choose the right one.
