Houston
A Protection Dog for Your Houston Home
Houston has been a strong market for us for decades. Business owners, energy and medical executives, athletes and families across the city have trusted us because we train at a world-championship level and deliver the finished dog to your door. A trained protection dog lives with you, knows your home and your routine, and stays under your control.
River Oaks, Memorial and Tanglewood. Established estates, gated drives and, for many of the people we work with, a public profile. Your dog is the first to know someone is at the gate, and a visible deterrent before anyone gets that far. It stays calm with guests, household staff and the neighbors.
West University, Bellaire and the Heights. Closer lots, sidewalks and neighbors on every side call for a dog that is steady on a walk and quiet until it matters. We train for that, and we select individual dogs that live that way.
Downtown, Midtown and the Galleria. High-rises, elevators, garages and valet lines. The right dog is calm in a crowd and easy to live with in a condo, and we'll match you with one.
The Woodlands, Kingwood, Sugar Land, Katy and Cypress. Master-planned communities, larger lots and long commutes. A protection dog watches the house while you're home and rides with you when you leave.
Pearland, Clear Lake, Galveston and acreage properties across the region. We deliver anywhere in Greater Houston and beyond.
Heat, humidity and hurricane season. Our dogs are athletes. We'll talk with you about exercise early and late in the day, shade, water and a plan for storms and evacuations, so your dog travels with you and stays under control.
German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois puppies for Houston families. Working puppies from our own program start at $5,500. Availability is limited, and we'll tell you when the next litter is due.
Our kennel is in Conover, North Carolina. You're always welcome to visit, see the dogs work and meet the people who trained them. When it's time, a senior trainer drives or flies to Houston, delivers your dog to your door and works with your family on the basics of handling.
The breed doesn't decide which dog is right for you. The individual dog does. Telling the difference is what we've done since 1978.
World Champion Trainer
National Champion. North American Champion. World Champion. I've been training dogs at the highest level, competitively and professionally, since 1978.
Award Winning Dogs
Dogs from our own program have won National, North American and World championships. Yours comes from that same program.

48 Years. One Standard. The Man Behind Every Dog.
My name is Wayne Simanovich, and I have been training protection dogs passionately since 1978. I have competed against the world's premier dogs and handlers across six countries, and I've placed dogs with Fortune 500 executives, government officials, politicians, entertainers, and elite athletes. But the placements that matter most are the ones like yours — families who simply want to feel safe at home.
Many of the people I work with live under real threat: public figures who are always visible, professionals whose work follows them home, families who no longer feel at ease after a break-in or rising crime close by. The world is not a safe place, and I hear the stories daily.
A properly trained protection dog changes that. It turns constant vigilance into quiet confidence and gives you back the freedom to relax in your own home. It's also security, companionship, and fun you can take with you wherever you go.
I founded this company in 1978 — before most of my competitors were born — and I still personally select all genetic material for breeding and set the standard every dog has to meet. But I don't do this alone. My staff spends months with each dog, day in and day out. Some of them have been with me for more than thirty years. They are a big part of why this standard holds, and it hasn't moved in 48 years.
When your dog arrives at your door, it will be the product of my time-honored system, and of a staff that has raised hundreds of dogs for people just like you. We've changed lives with Huggable Security™.

What To Expect with a trained protection dog
Health
A Fully Trained Adult is a young dog in its prime — vibrant, strong, with a responsive immune system, and past the vaccination stage. Before a dog is ever bred in our program, we screen the breeding partners for congenital health defects and radiograph hips and elbows. Good health starts with the genetic material, and we start there.

Why Families Choose a Professionally Trained Adult Protection Dog
Supplying professional Huggable Security™. A Personal Companion Delivering Peace of Mind.
An Alarm
More effective than a security system. If your dog is barking at 2am there is a reason. Be awake. Be alert. Be prepared for any intrusion.
A Threat
A powerful visual deterrent. When confronted with a trained adult, most miscreants take their ill will and bad intentions elsewhere.
Manstopping Deterrent
In the rare occurrence some fool wants to challenge your dog, you'll have time for instant, potentially life-saving decisions.
And Oh Yes, Fun!
Owning a well-trained dog is a lot of fun! 99.9% of the time your dog is your controllable and playful pet. Many of our clients turn their new companion into a serious hobby.
